Re: Building in Moncrieff (ACT) 52May 18, 2015 12:48 pm yvonneh wow tall garage ceilings! are you planning to build in a mezzanine floor? what is included in the Arise promotion? I think the step down for the garage is included? haha a mezzanine would be cool! Unfortunately it is mainly because of the lie of the land. On the plus side, there will be a massive opportunity for some cool storage shelving in there. The arise promotion just gives you the infinity upgrades for $1990 and an Actron air con. There is another promotion in for ACT now where you get that and a $500 gift card so realistically same promotion for $500 less! There will have to be some steps built up from our garage which in our original NHP they omitted both entry and exit doors from our garage (but we want them!). So we are waiting for the cost of the stairs there and the fireplace expansion basically. You've actually kept the costs for all those improvements considerably low, so well done! Hopefully this is it, we have had our colour selection appointment last week and only had a couple of upgrades to do, which will be priced into the contract. Waiting on that now. Re: Building in Moncrieff (ACT) 57May 18, 2015 10:10 pm Kind of sad that we're paying $19,000 to get our earthworks, drop edge beams, stairs, ceiling heights etc Also playing $5000 to lock the price in for next year and the $3000 to keep the government happy. Oh well, price you have to pay I guess! That extra $27,000 puts a little bit of a downer on it, but for the block we've secured we think it's worth it.
