Can I contact the Western Link Concreting directly as I have got no news from Jandson about piering or slab work. Did Jandson gave the name of the concreter to you or got it yourself. I mean if I call them to ask for an update on slab work will there be any issue from Jandson side. Secondly there is no supervisor assigned to me as yet. Hi grantham_swift, Not sure if we've been assigned the same trades, best to Contact Jandson directly to get any further info on your build. I wouldn't recommend contacting WLC directly as it might not do you any favors with Jandson. We only got told about peiring 4 days before it was booked in and had to wait 10 weeks to even get that far. I went out late yesterday and seen our piering has been done. I may have squealed with excitement a little bit. Had a bit of a look see in the limited light out there at night, seems like the are only a few holes that still need to be finished off as they were half filled (not sure if it's supposed to be this way?) - if it's not then I would think they'd be finishing it off today. Fencing has not been put up, they mentioned it would happen this week but I'd think this will be happening and will be pushed to next week. Hoping our slab is poured mid to late next week and this weather hangs around. Again - we won't know for sure when that date will be until the concreter or Jandson call us. Took a little peek at the other Jandson lots (193, 194, 195) and they all seem to have a step down component - we don't. Also everyone seems to have a big drop going from their alfresco to the backyard (we have one also but don't think ours is that extreme). At least these Jandson lots will be flat, we have a slope that we now can't fill in as the air con unit has been moved from the side of the house to the back. We also seem to have a large mound in our working drawings - of which we've been told cannot be flattened, moved ot filled in around it ... we will see about that. On another note... Retaining walls - has anyone started the quote process of this and figured what is the best time to get it quoted? I was thinking when the slab has been poured so you get a better idea on where the FFL is opposed to the FGL? I think its 370per sqm.. i can confirm it later by double checking the paperwork.. but its somewhere around 350-370 Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 658May 15, 2015 1:39 pm sidhu12321 Retaining walls - has anyone started the quote process of this and figured what is the best time to get it quoted? Quick to build Andrew92 & Cat which designs did you go with? I'd like to build with Clarendon but they're priced beyond our budget. Love their designs & communication appears good from sales office anyway. How did you find the rest of the process with them so far? They said 6mo paperwork then 6mo build so we wouldn't be in for at least 12mo. I'm also building with Clarendon, the process was quite quick with them. We dragged the paperwork side on for a bit (As our block was not registered) but they would have been able to have the tender created and final contracts signed within a 4 week period. Colour selections and all that took another 2-3 weeks. We got CDC approval on the 4th of March and site was scraped on the 16th of March. Super fast and getting things done and communication has been great, but I am holding my judgement until I see the final product! $395 Fixed Priced Landscape Plans for DA M: 0435 127 244 | W: bluegumdesign.com.au | E: info@bluegumdesign.com.au Residential | Commercial | Industrial Re: Grantham Estate, Riverstone 660May 15, 2015 10:39 pm Is there anyone building with Elderton Homes ? Have you got information when the construction will commence ? I have got Information that the CDC has been approved, they are preparing the consolidating documents. I wonder if you can share yours. I am a bit frustrated why it takes so long (more than 4 months after land registered) Thank you.
