Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 761Mar 31, 2015 6:00 pm Sorry have not be on the forums for a bit. was not getting the email alert when there was a new post lol. Anyway, I see not much is happening at all. Is there any point of even going out and checking what work has been done to the land? Arent our hopes relying on lake works or bank deposits now? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 762Mar 31, 2015 6:26 pm They sure are and it is really frustrating when you can't even get a courtesy call back from council, not that I am expecting any major updates at this stage. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 763Mar 31, 2015 7:53 pm Well I think it's time to maybe just call ACA and give them some insight as to what is happening In Stage 40-44 and take it from there! If they are interested in the case they can then contact us and we then can organise a meeting/interview. Vote Yes No to this as I don't want to upset anyone who thinks this issue will be resolved tomorrow as it won't be there will be more delays more ****** more money we have to pay up so just get over it and get the ball rolling otherwise with all the delays we may no be in our home until Xmas 2016!! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 764Mar 31, 2015 8:02 pm I dunno what to do, I can't see it making any difference to council at this late stage. If they were still fighting with cornish then I agree but they don't seem to be anymore. By all means I will be there with u all, but I think that by the time ACA would get involved council should be done. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 765Mar 31, 2015 9:15 pm You could be right Riversidedreamin. I am feeling confused as well. My conveyancer seems to think that registration could occur by May, given that apparently street numbers will be issued by next week. She stated that when this event occurs, registration is not too far, of course given that there are no hiccups or amendments to be made prior to signing off on the subdivision certificates. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 766Apr 01, 2015 5:46 am I have the ability to make a lot of what you are talking about happen very quickly - somebody either needs to put their hand up to take the lead or contacting ACA can be put on hold and you play by the developers rules for another six months. The land is not registered. It takes about 8-12wks from submission to LPI to reach settlement and in the meantime, your builders won't care that it's been submitted, they won't be starting onsite for a minimum of three more months meaning more charges/late fees. Decision time - take the long weekend to think about what has happened before and whether you want registered land next week or next year. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 770Apr 01, 2015 12:07 pm did everyone get the email from cornish group? maybe we dont need to go to the media.. or i wonder if they are reading these posts haha Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 771Apr 01, 2015 12:38 pm judging by the email, I think you are right Parkview_rs Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 772Apr 01, 2015 1:07 pm I think things are definitely looking positive. My conveyancer pretty much suggested what Cornish said in the email, surely we can't be too far off. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 774Apr 01, 2015 10:03 pm Of course relevant people read these forums - not surprised something was sent out, that's how it worked before. Hopefully it confirmed registration will occur in the next few weeks for everybody! All the best with it all Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 775Apr 01, 2015 10:42 pm Thanks Riverside_24. I guess time will tell, however time is ticking! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 776Apr 02, 2015 7:29 am Time is ticking!!! i think if we do not hear anything by mid april we need to action it and contact ACA Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 777Apr 02, 2015 4:24 pm It is going to be a tough one Parkview_rs! I contacted Council on Tuesday in respect to obtaining an update on the subdivision certificates. A woman there told me that I need to speak with a Greg who was not available when I called. He did call me back yesterday afternoon and told me that he does not think the subdivision certificates would be signed off next week, due to the short week. He also specified that council have requested further information from Cornish, however he feels that Cornish will expedite the additional information. He did reiterate a couple of times that although the subdivision certificates probably will not be released by next week, he did say that it is nearing completion and it is very close. If this is going to be the case, then I do not think registration will occur until mid May and that might be best case scenario. I really hope I am wrong. There's always something.......... Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 778Apr 04, 2015 8:15 am I know its never straight forward... whenever i get an email from cornish i just think add a few weeks on. happy to re asses the situation in a few weeks see what info council supply us with. thanks for sharing your info with us race to stage 43. so embarrassing i saw family yesterday and they asked where i was building...they then googled it and the forums came up plus the aca report so they were like this is where you have bought? Deff put a black cloud over what should be a happy moment. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 779Apr 04, 2015 11:37 am You are absolutely right Parkview_rs, definitely add at least a few weeks on to what we get told. I think that is a safe bet, let's see what further updates arise over the next few weeks and then we should reassess our situation. I know this should be a happy and exciting time for all of us, but it is definitely hard to do with no straight answers. I will be hassling council until we get to where we need to be, I don't care how frustrated they get! All we can do is stay strong, united and keep each other informed. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 780Apr 04, 2015 2:14 pm Went out again to see if more pegging had been done... Nope... Now council are doing the dragging out. Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week! Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed.
