Building the Bellevue Q1 with Henley

Hello everyone!
I'm new to this forum and a bit confused about it, but I've been following some thread and found it quite helpful actually to share and find information! Its been really great.

We are going to build with Henley. Is anyone else building with Henley? Or in the Harpley Estate area in Werribee?

I'm going to be a first home owner as well, so it's all a bit overwhelming at this stage and hoping to get through it well as Henley is quite a reputable builder

But we have changed the kitchen so that the stove is where the fridge is being shown and opted for the window splashback. Rotated the island benchtop accordingly.

Congrats on your build and I look forward to following your thread

I like both those choices also, particularly the white. If my hubby weren't so stubborn with what he likes I would have gone for something very similar LOL.

ShannaLk thank you! My hubby loves the white one but I'm a bit scared due to high maintenance issues lol but lets see how we go at colour selection!

Agree this is a better kitchen layout. You can also upgrade to a window splashback

Hopefully it will be easy to clean haha

The colour boards that I posted are just for inspiration only I believe. I'll have to ask next week.

I have to decide on a façade and we are so confused ... these are the 4 façade option we've chosen and we need to pick one now! Opinions?

Whichever we choose we will need to render it partially.

We picked the Milton façade (but I am planning on changing the front windows to the vertical option before contract) Im justa bit worried the horizontal windows will date quickly ??
We chose it as I didn't want to try and dress a corner window - curtain options are a bit harder with that. Also because we liked how the pillars are wider apart than the broadway, opening up the front porch a it more.
its very hard to choose when there is no real life pics to see

Jessicana10 exactly! I couldnt find any photos of the Milton, Lehmaan and Barkley facade online. Its hard to visualise it you know based on these sketches!

I might stick with the broadway facade .. I wanted the horizontal windows as well but like you said I'm afraid that it will be outdated quickly too.

And yes that side window will be hard to dress with a curtain.

Im confused between the milton and broadway.

We went to our info session in Cosham yesterday and sort of figured out what we wanted but still unsure.

We might go with the truffle or biscotti concept for the exterior.

For the flooring planning to go ahead with Manhattan Coffe oak Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

We are going to upgrade our overhead cupboards to a silk finish.

Still not sure about everything, do need to do a bit more research and hopefully by our colour appointment we know what were doing!

The color girl will give you suggestions for good combinations if you ask and tell her what color theme you like. Did you like any of the internal color options?

We have been booked in for colour and tender/contract appointment!

Our admin's name is Clare and for colour we have Rhonnie, hopefully she'll be good!

Our colour appointment is on the 21/4/15 and we've taken tender/contract appointment on the same day which is the 20/5/15! I hope everything works out well.

We'll have to apply for the land loan and home loan separately as the land is set to title early May still.

And for the loan we are going ahead with Commbank, hopefully the valuations will be good.

I’ve been mia from Homeone thought I’d update what we’ve had done so far.
We had our initial colour appointment on 21/4/15 but there were certain things we didn’t really like so we had a second one on the 7/5/15.
We then had our tender appointment on 17/5/15 and now we are scheduled for the contract appointment on 24/6/15.
Now they are waiting for the estate to be titled before they do the soil test even though we were given approval for soil tests to be completed by the developer since May :S
Settlement is due to happen on 17/6/15.
Anyways, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly for us 

Here are some of the choices we went with in our colour appointment. I’ll post pictures too.

Metro Wall Faced Close coupled with Cost close seat toilet to both Ensuite and Powder Room (Upgrade)

We went for cornerless alfresco. We had some structural changes made in the kitchen and powder room. We’ve added sliding doors to theatre and ensuite.

Sounds great - love your colour choices. Has the manhattan flooring changed? I think I read now that there is a slight bevel edge between the planks, is that true ? Rather than giving a totally smooth flat finish??
