When is your tender/contract appointment? Is it gonna be both in the same day? We had it in the same day.

Re: Building the Sahara Q3 with Henley 374Mar 24, 2015 1:44 pm That's what I'm most worried about because westpac gave us preapproval for our land loan then when we applied for the money they did a massive 180. Ridiculous. So stressful I just want it sorted!!! Re: Building the Sahara Q3 with Henley 376Mar 24, 2015 3:24 pm Our broker got us 4 different sets of valuations - NAB, BankWest, Suncorp, and Westpac, and they were ALL different. Some were higher for land and lower for construction, some were vice-versa. We ended up going with Suncorp and paying the 13k difference in land valuation ourselves. But even then we had to sign a disclaimer that we knew that it was undervalued and we were happy. Our broker did all the running around, escalating, finding us the best case scenario out of a bunch of bad scenarios. We would never have got going without our broker! Btw did any of you go for the induction cooktop then the gas cooktop? If so why'd you choose that? Love my induction cooktop, put it in our last house we sold. Now renting with a stupid big cooker with gas, cannot stand it. plus we have left a burner on a few times by accident, once with a pan of cupcakes on top. lucky it was only on low heat!. induction is much safer, does not get hot so cooking in summer heat is no issues, more precise control, super easy to clean and use, has a timer, you can melt chocolate in a zip-lock bag straight in a pan (with no water) on the lowest setting and it will not burn, looks good. sorry i will stop myself now Can't wait for my new house when I can use induction again. Only con is not all cookware will work on it (oh, and not good for woks ) sassid ...building the Emporio with MainVue/Henley BLOG: http://thewaldorfproject.blogspot.com.au/ HOMEONE THREAD : https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75753 Re: Building the Sahara Q3 with Henley 378Mar 24, 2015 4:40 pm sassid Tasminnn Thanks for the heads up guys!
