We went to pre-start early Dec 2013, our build commenced early feb, it all started out really promising. Since they have started building the amount of work all tallied up would be approx 3 weeks IN TOTAL.This is in a time frame of 6 MONTHS!!!!! Nobody has been working on our house in over 3 weeks and this is not the first lull but one of many since we first started this painfully slow exercise. We were promised great things and they have yet to prove that they are worthy of their assurances. We don't even have a roof yet. We too are building in the mandurah region. There is a fair bit of activity in building going on around us and houses that stared after us and at the same time are at lock up stage, a couple of houses are getting their driveways paved which is the last stage before handover. So if you have all the time in the world and looking for a retirement home go ahead and build. We were told all this last Nov by a couple we met, they were building the same house as we are currently building. We were stupid and thought that won't happen to us.... they were unlucky! Not sure who is having the last laugh....Don't say I didn't warn you!!

Wood will be stored in the section below the oven. This will be textured in Malay Grey also, bench top will be composite brushed aluminium. Have planted native garden, next to go in will be 3 black boys, mulch, then grass and compacted limestone to the remaining area. Hoping to have the front finished in the next few weeks so more pics will follow. The black pots may be changed, I think taller square pots will look better against the thick pillars. They are very special pots however (BF's great grandfather made them) so a place will be found for them out the back!
