Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5702Apr 26, 2014 8:32 pm I have not had a complaint......yet. But my wife had a package from council about dog noise. My pup barks, my old girl barks. Dogs bark. It is not incessiant noise because I don't allow my dogs to carry on, but I think because my dog sounds like the one that cries all night up the street, my pup will be thought of as the cause. It sucks because they are tucked up in bed as soon as the sun comes down. I just hope that if my neighbours had an issue with noise they would come and see me first. I suppose though it is just easier to hide behind bureaucracy then develop and foster a relationship with a fellow resident. Scared1sttime it ain't a problem. Houses are so well insulated that it is nothing. I hardly noticed any till I got the letter and frankly it has made me now hyper sensitive to it, whereas before it never even computed. Not like the stupid tradies at stupid o clock every day I went outside once. The graphics were alright, but the gameplay sucked! Unfortunately you can't chose your neighbours like you can your house, it is such a shame that every community has an element of self important people that feel the world revolves around them. I also understand there are some dog owners who don't take responsibility for there dogs behaviour, but the same can be said of parents that don't take responsibility for there children. As a dog owner I made sure my neighbours were made aware how they will respond to things, both my neighbours aren't dog owners but have no issues with mine especially now they know there properties also have an early intruder warning system. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5704Apr 28, 2014 9:17 am We are dog owners as well and I would expect my neighbours to have a chat to me first before complaining to council. In saying that, my dog is allowed to express a couple of words/barks during reasonable hours, some kids ran around and make more noise thn my dog.....I am sure that some people will disagree with this comment ....oh well. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 5706May 01, 2014 4:13 pm Hi Did the Council concern the color of render to get the approval of OC? I want to use another color instead of DA approved one.
