Our timber bi-fold is 2100*3600 and was $3900 including staining.

Our timber bi-fold is 2100*3600 and was $3900 including staining.

Scott this is what I was quoted recently

2400 x 4410 Alum Bi Fold Doors $6500 or Timber BiFolds $7800

2400 x 4624 Alum Stacker Doors $2000 or Timber Stackers $3500

OR you can just upgrade your alum sliding doors to 2400H for 300-500 bucks depending on size

Bi-folding is too expensive, Seems we can only afford stacking doors, or maybe Bi-parting doors which will be cheaper

Brick Upgrade - Cat 1 to Cat 4

I have been quoted 6.3K for the brick upgrade from Cat 1 to 4 (Waldorf 48 - estimate 17,500 Brick)

Now sure is it reasonable?

Since there is brick price listed on Austral website for different brick.

The Cat 1 is around $950/1000 brick, the Cat4 we choose is around $1111/1000 brick, we thought the upgrade will be (1111-950)*17,500 = $2, 817

The 6.5K quoted by PD seems a bit exsessive........

So while it might not seem reasonable, what you have quoted are the prices and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it lol

The Cat 2 bricks we wanted are actually less per 1000 on the Austral website than some of the Cat 1 options. Go figure.

I think the difference in price is that what you see on the Austral site is RRP, PD would get bulk purchase discounts. They must pick certain bricks and make these standard, so therefore have some sort of calculation that would estimate quantity and therefore they arrange a good price for them to buy from Austral. Then other bricks would be more expensive for them to purchase. Not saying that this explains such big price difference, however this is generally how Preferred Supplier Agreements would work. I am only guessing.....

Scott, we upgraded our oven, it cost us $1000 extra. Not sure how much we were credited, but we were $1000 out of pocket for the bigger oven

We been quote for $2800 for blanco 900mm cooker + 900mm oven

Hopefully there will be some credit back for the blanco 900mm upright cooker which is in the promotion
