Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances Re: What Kitchen Appliances to Buy - Value for Money? 2Nov 30, 2013 1:44 pm We just bought a 900mm Falcon freestanding for our new build. We got the professional fx series which has the one large oven but also comes with a panel you can insert to just use half the oven instead. I can't wait to have a kitchen to put it in! In our current rental we have a Miele dishwasher and I would never buy one, for the money it doesn't seem to clean any better or quieter than a cheap one. As far as I understand it you are right in the more expensive Bosch products being made in Germany still. We were looking at a bosch washing machine but I spent a little more and went for the Siemens from the same family. Its amazing and had a 5 year warranty and they're all german built (or were 2 years ago when we were looking) I know thats Laundry but I assume its the same case for kitchen appliances too. Re: What Kitchen Appliances to Buy - Value for Money? 3Dec 01, 2013 10:45 am Thanks so much Staceyd for your reply. I will definitely have a look at the Falcon cooker, that's interesting what you said about the Miele dishwasher. I don't mind spending money on something that's worth it if you know what I mean but will keep looking, will have a look at Siemens. Some say higher end Bosch is made in Germany, cheaper things aren't but does anyone know for sure? Danette Building in Upper Hunter, NSW on 2.5 acres yes that is right! the high end bosch is still made in Germany the cheap option is made (more likely in china) else where As a tradesmen get a private inspector although I don't think there worth it in their profession themselves the reminder they serve to the tradesmen doing the work is… 3 28025 I've just had a look at the website.
