Thanks for your reply, I take it you decided that the noise in Caversham wasn't as bad as Queens's park? I think I'm just going to have to get over to that area in the early hours and listen to it. I'm surprised that you've had such a long wait, I wonder if the following stages will also be subject to this kind of delay.
Has anyone had clarification on whether you actually need soak wells, someone told me that because they're putting in site drainage that the houses don't require it.

Nowhere could be as bad as queens park, so we're already winning! we were DIRECTLY under two flight paths, planes coming in and going out. Our block in Caversham isn't directly under the flight path - not that I've witnessed anyway, and these things seem to change all the time anyway, with more flights being added all the time, so who knows what situation we'll all end up in?! I don't know where the other stages are in relation to the flight paths.
Almando told us stage 3 wouldn't take nearly as long as stage 2 - so that made us feel much better - not!
