There are still a bunch of things outstanding, the builders will be working like made today and tomorrow morning to finish it off, but with a bit of luck this journey will soon be over. Re: Building the Drysdale 30 70Sep 04, 2013 2:43 pm inglewoodHi Metroid Nothing happening atm. Just waiting for our date - hubby is going to call our BC today and see if she can tell us the start date yet (we were told we'd know early this week). We had final contract drawings signing last week and our planning permits are all done. So it won't be long! It feels unbelievable that we will be starting our build in the next few weeks! I'm sure when it does start I'll be pinching myself to check I'm not dreaming - I've wanted to build for soooo long! Fingers crossed for you for a quick start. Our site scrape was 7th August and have only had one work day where nothing was done. It's moving at a cracking pace so far, look forward to following your build Re: Building the Drysdale 30 71Sep 09, 2013 11:04 am Wahooooooo!!!! Site cut is scheduled for the 16th!!!!!! Hows has cracks in it. Re: Building the Drysdale 30 76Sep 11, 2013 10:31 am Well done Inglewood. Portaloo and the Cage are always exciting. Hows has cracks in it. If your crossover has been cracked by the builder, make sure they fix it before handover or the council will hit you for the replacement costs (at least $400 per segment). It was one of the last steps in handover for us - our SS had a form for us to sign confirming they hadn't damaged the crossover. Bit of shared responsibility for cracks I believe from the knockdown and them. Re: Building the Drysdale 30 79Oct 07, 2013 1:14 pm Take two... Our site cut is now re-scheduled for the 15th and slab by the end of the month - weather permitting of course - and as long as the bank don't play anymore tricks on us again... here's hoping Amazed the port - loo didn't fly away in all the wind we've had in the past few weeks!
