Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 104Jul 29, 2013 9:09 pm Nope! No action for 2 weeks! Am chasing statemans up this week! I heard from a neighbor my brickie apparently hurt himself, nice of my builder to inform me... Will post more when it happens! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 106Jul 31, 2013 6:06 pm Happy to know our brickie is back on site! And our linen cupboard had been installed and doorways blocked with plastic... Odd but hey I'll take it! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 109Aug 02, 2013 11:09 pm Ahhh we are at lock up!!!! Woooo!!!! Let hope I can break in tomorrow! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 110Aug 02, 2013 11:25 pm Great news Zoe. It's a good and a bad feeling hey?!? I can't seem to ever find a way in. Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 112Aug 03, 2013 8:49 am I did leave the study window unlatched so i'll find out today if I can get in or not! Our windows seem so high off the ground getting through them is going to be a challenge! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 113Aug 03, 2013 4:34 pm That is great Zoe! like Amancharmar said it is exciting but sucks at the same time. We have always left a window unlatched and managed to climb in Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 114Aug 05, 2013 8:23 am Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 115Aug 05, 2013 7:38 pm Wow it is really starting to take shape zoe looks great! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 118Aug 06, 2013 9:09 am Thanks guys the excitment has kicked in again! Everything seems to be on schedule to move in during the next school holiday at the start of Oct! Have left 2 windows unlatched to provide access but as I suspected the windows are rather high, maybe once the window seals are bricked the few extra inches will make throwing the leg through the window a tad easier! Would hate to have to explain how I tore a hamstring or where the grazes on my face came from should my foot get caught on the window frame! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 120Aug 06, 2013 10:19 am now that would be the smart thing to do Hachy, why on earth would I do that hahaha! yes we could but would probably look very suspicious. The windows are climb-able but i'll keep the ladder in mind! |
