For carpets, this is not an issue, as the carpet is fixed against the skirting boards, so skirting boards can be attached and painted before carpet installation.
For tiles and timber, the skirting is fixed above the tile/timber floor.
So, why tag them first, only to be removed and installed later again, and charge the client $450?
