Im obviously blind guys because when I compare them online telstra seems cheaper and they seem to include more ?? I think ive just looked at toooo many different internwt/phone plans that ive completely confused myself ... and only having my phone to research anything doesnt help !!

Thanks Dargon... I mustve been comparing high speed iinet with low speed telstra lol ... does iinet include phone calls ??? I know with telstra it included standard national and mobile calls and a free tbox .

iinet apparently have a $9.95 a month fee for a net phone. Not sure if that is just for the hardware and then pay as you uses.

Telstra has the phone line included with a pay as you go system

The net phone from iinet includes all local and national calls

Hi all

Finally got keys last Friday! Working on finishing the house before we starting moving in in a couple of weeks

It's such a relief! Not sure I'll do that again in a hurry!

With the iinet deals, how much GB would you need to run your TV through the internet (as in the FetchTV deal they do)? I see their base package includes 200GB, but I don't know if this will be enough - but I don't know how much internet TV would go through...

We had pre handover yesterday, a few things had come up. Our SS showed us a dent where someone dropped something on our bathroom vanity and chipped it a little so the whole thing is getting replaced, so he asked for the full 10 days so hopefully we will be on trac for keys on Friday 7/6 as I told him I have booked the painter for the next day. Fingers crossed

Hi all, had our final inspection this p.m.; a few little touch up painting to be done Monday and we pick up keys Tuesday!!!! Likewise Jenol 50, this is the 8th time I've built and will certainly be the last. (At 69 years maturity I ain't got enough time, money, patience with builders or energy!!!!

FetchTV watching doesn't impact quota at all, it's part of their freezone. Start low, the worst thing that can happe. Is you get shaped/slowed down and you can upgrade for free.

Hi all. Havent been on here for a while. Have been busy busy busy. Got the floors and skirtings finished so now we just have to unpack our boxes. The driveway, alfresco and pool area are getting paved this weekend so just the grass to lay and that should be us done. Its been a long 3 weeks but we will be able to rest soon.

Congrats to everyone who has got their keys. Now the real work begins for you all. Smile I hope the benchtop gets replaced quickly.

We are going with telstra mainly because we want to keep our email and the fact that we dont want to pay to get out of the mobile broadband contract we have with them.

One question I have for anyone who has moved in already. Do you have an issue with the taste of the water. I find it really bad. The food tastes metallic even when you cook with it. I bought a water filter and even that didnt help. At the minute we are living on bottled water which is expensive when you have to cook with it too.

Mel we rode past your house and noticed the handle still isnt on. Have you heard anymore about it. We still have 2 doors to put on but wanted to wait till the floors where finished.

Ohhh julie-anne was that you and your daughter that rode past as I was going inside? ? So sorry I had just finished Iwork had a huge headache .. I was just stopping in to get some nurofen before I went to get the little one. .. didnt mean to be a snob!

Apparently they're still waiting for the handle to come in... pfft ... oh well the door works. .that's the main thing. ..

I dont think there's a metallic taste to our water. .. your welcome to pop by some time and compare ...

Thats ok Mel. I think it was probably my 2 daughters that rode by at the weekend. My 13yr old is as tall as me.......lol.

Ive found the water awful since moving to Perth but to me this is bad and even Brian and the kids notice it and they have always liked the water elsewhere. Guess Im fussy!!!!! Going to look into a filter through the tap......more money!!

Don't you hate it when they tower over you BJA . My 13 yr old daughter is taller than me. She rubs it in as often as she can.
