Build from p14 541Mar 28, 2013 7:15 am Thanks Jems, the tiles are nearly done in the kitchen area and will look great once grouted T, I will be contacting them at three months regardless, unless they get in contact first, sounds like it may be unlikely. Most of our current issues have been sorted, the walls will get fixed today and painted Tuesday which was our main concern. Well, we chose a carpet but it will take 8 weeks to be made in NZ and installed here Darn hubby, I would have been getting my timber floors today. Oh well. The carpet will be nice. We got some more retaining and a drive yesterday. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: Bought a block in SA -PCI...DONE!! Looks like a good place for a nice little library in the "little" room Do you want to sell the display cabinet in the entry ... might be just what we're looking for What are you planning for your windows in the family room? Build from 554Apr 23, 2013 8:49 pm Thank you Tristan, Trees, crazyeagle and Rocky, we're very happy to be in finally Thanks McLaren, we love the view, there are often kangaroos feeding in the paddocks, we watched a couple boxing yesterday. The raised ceiling makes the room appear more spacious, which is the effect we wanted. We haven't decided what to put on the windows yet, probably curtains in the family room and French doors and double blinds on all the small windows. We haven't decided on any light fittings yet either, quite happy to wait until we have more time to look. We don't have carpet yet, that's coming Friday week, something to look forward to, as we cant finish the bedrooms and study until it is in. So still a bit to do, will have to find a letterbox soon too. We bought a portable clothesline which will do until we get an outside one up and will be great to use in the garage in winter, holds heaps. I'm not planning to sell the cabinet as I have a lot of ornaments I keep in it, packed in a box somewhere... They used to sell similar at LeCornus so you may find one there. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: Bought a block in SA-I'm back, moved in pics! Build from 557Apr 24, 2013 5:37 pm the family room window size is enormous!!!! I'm so jealous what is the ceiling height in the shower? seems like it's lost somewhere in the skies it is huge Re: Bought a block in SA-I'm back, moved in pics! Build from 558Apr 24, 2013 10:47 pm DCT, you have an absolutely beautiful home. Adore the view from your lounge room! I particularly like the exterior. There is something so 'South Australian' about the verandah and wide frontage (and of course the view of the vines!). 5.5m Terrace House - Lightsview (Northgate SA) Moved in!! - 22 February 2013 /viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53455 Re: Bought a block in SA-I'm back, moved in pics! Build from 560Apr 25, 2013 10:38 am Thank McLaren, yes the house won't be properly decorated for a while, I think we'll be having a rather large garage sale eventually - if I can give anything up! WO, we decided to get the garden in asap, ready for winter, so glad we did as the warm weather then the rain really got the grass off to a good start, it has well and truly taken. We have sub=surface irrigation underneath so wont have to water anymore. The plants will grow into a hedge which I will keep trimmed to just below the fence line and we have grasses planted in front of the retaining wall at the back to 'soften' the wall. We plan to put a pool in the level above the steps. RW, the window is 4m wide and 2400mm high, I love it All the ceilings are 2700mm high except in the media and family room which have been raised to 3m. Unfortunately the shower screen is standard height - no-one thought to ask us if we wanted it taller since we have the higher ceilings, and it never occurred to us. In a few years I might have them replaced, but have got used to them so they will do for now. Thank you Juski, it is lovely to look out of our window and see the kangaroos eating thistles in the fields, we have watched a couple of young ones boxing too I sat on the veranda today with a cup of tea, listening to the birds and watching the rain move over the hills, I'm so glad we are finally in thanks, frozenkuku I shall put pics of the bedrooms and media room as they are finished. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Joe, it depends on your certifier but we are noticing the ones we deal with are really cracking down.
