Please help ! WA 9Apr 21, 2013 1:38 pm There's a nice white kitchen at Masters in Armadale, sort of shaker style with a stone benchtop you might want to look at. We'd have loved it but ended up going with the one included since we'd get so little back as a credit. Maybe in another 10 years when we renovate I suppose. Re: Warm country kitchen styles ! Please help ! WA 10Apr 21, 2013 1:43 pm Charnley Hi Elle, most country style kitchens tend to have a profiled door - shaker is really popular. I think Laminex do some profile doors otherwise I think they need to be painted. We have gone for a country style. I will add some of the pics I have collected in my search for the look I want. Goodluck - the first pic is the Style I have copied for our house. Laminex have a very limited range. Have a look at Tesrol or Polytecs range of doors. All country kitchens have a profiled door. Without the profile its a different style. Please help ! WA 11Apr 22, 2013 6:59 pm I agree regarding Laminex's limited range as I found the same myself. I too found Tesrol and Polytec to have a wider range of "shaker" style doors and ended up going with Polytec as my kitchen company did not use Tesrol. Very happy with the doors we chose. Re: Warm country kitchen styles ! Please help ! WA 13Apr 23, 2013 12:41 am yep you need profile doors. I'd go white or off white with a warm bench colour. Please help ! WA 16Apr 23, 2013 10:38 pm Hi Elle You can ask however project builders will generally stick with their own suppliers. Redink should be able to supply you the type of Kitchen you want. Your other option is to supply the Kitchen yourself and get them to credit you. Not the most cost effective option but if it gets you what you want. Goodluck Re: Warm country kitchen styles ! Please help ! WA 17Apr 25, 2013 12:49 am Hahaha waterwheel you can come play with our kitchen anytime if you want to pay for it it's actually not too badly priced considering how big our kitchen is. We have changed the pantry though because I didn't like the pull put door, it was too heavy and that's before food in it!!! Re: Warm country kitchen styles ! Please help ! WA 18Apr 25, 2013 4:52 pm I think all the pictures above need more to be classed as a country kitchen. Sure they have panel doors but that doesnt make a country kitchen. They all look awesome and I have a similar kitchen but they all look very modern rather than country to me. Please help ! WA 19Apr 25, 2013 7:18 pm Country kitchen to me invokes images of a large kitchen (oodles of benchspace... a good size room lined with cupboard/bench, a big U shape... etc.), timber benchtops or timber doors, knobs, not handles, and room to eat, not just cook. So either the old kitchen table in the middle, or an island with seating space. But I'd envision the 'kitchen space' as wrapping around the island, not the island being the border of it as we see with modern kitchens. And warm colour, not predominantly white. I wouldn't want all those elements, although I like some of them. Perhaps try to narrow down what elements you are liking in the 'country kitchen' style, and which are contributing to the overall look that you like. It's style - it's personal. Land settled May '14. WA 20Oct 21, 2016 8:44 pm Hii Elle, If you feel your kitchen is a little more traditional or even just warm instead of feeling cold and modern than you can visit Kitchen Designers Armadale ..
