We have a transformer, sensor light which you can also use to time how long it stays on for or you can have it on without the sensor. They only get used when people are here at night. We have uplights on the pillars and garage that are on a sensor, so there is always plenty of light if people rock up unexpected. We put one down light and then one light on each pillar (2 pillars), and a fog light on the garage.
