Hi all. I engaged a lighting designer before my lighting and power appointment, and I can definitely recommend doing this as the person at our appointment made suggestions, but no qualitative or quantitative assessment of the lighting needs were done.
I outsourced the project to an architect/lighting designer on Fiverr for less than $400. The turnaround was less than 3 days. They provided a lighting plan, recommended luminaires, and a whole propertu lyx assessment and modelling.
