Browse Forums Pools & Spas 1 Sep 15, 2020 10:37 pm We will move into a new place in NSW where we will have to make the pool fence compliant. The issue is a sliding living room door leading into the pool area as per pictures. Could we: a. Erect a compliant pool glass gate just in front (say 50mm) of the existing sliding door which would open into the living room once the sliding door is open? Would that offend any of the NCZs? or b. permanently screw the existing door shut by some fixtures blocking door to open at all? Access to the pool area would then be through a gate outside the house.
