Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 May 14, 2008 12:25 am I know I know!! This damn splashback...well DH came home last night and told me his mate had a great kitchen - all white with a greeny coloured splashback - he said it looked really 'cool'....so I go off searching for pics and find something similar.
Not sure if this is the exact colour we are after - but it is in the right colour scheme (green/olive/earthy) I'm wondering if anyone would know of a similar shade from Dulux? Or if any of the people building with M'con could possibly ask their s/c if they know of the colour for the splashback that has been used on the Jasper at Caroline Springs. i would ask but I doubt they will tell an 'outsider' Thanks so much The link below - you will need to probably type in Metric0n in replace of the *** for it to work Oh and it is pic 3 http://www.metricon.com.au/victoria/homes/jasper/images/default.aspx My karma ran over your dogma Re: Found one! 4May 14, 2008 8:32 am I’ll try and get a colour for you tonight Bell. Either Laminex amari oak or nocturne oak and a light colour yet to be selected. Leaning towards the nocturne oak, though. I'm waiting for my colour selection meeting next week, to get advice from the colour consultant. But definitely one of the 2 oaks above. Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Found one! 11May 14, 2008 3:56 pm Nice The green will tie in perfectly...hoepfully Michelle can come up with a name for us both, otherwise I might have to head off to M's displays and play an imposter
Just checked out the Dulux site and looked up the word 'olive' as that is sort of the colour I think this splashback is and came up with 2 possible answers; - Green Olive - Glossy Olive Of course I'll leave it to the expert (Mich ) but don't mind these 2 colours also My karma ran over your dogma Re: Found one! 13May 14, 2008 4:30 pm Go to www.dulux.com.au
Click on 'Specifier' then Click on 'Colour Atlas' and then you just type in the name you like....I just typed in 'Olive' and got a range of green colours My karma ran over your dogma Re: Found one! 16May 14, 2008 5:39 pm Hi Haygwl,
We have chosen the exact same kitchen, but we changed the splashback color to corduroy (Bristol paints) which is more brown than green. The house in the link is The Aspen displayed in Berwick, the house is no longer on display as they have updated it to the Jasper. If you call M3tricon Studio 501 they may be able to help as they have all the info and codes of all the houses on display. Re: Found one! 20May 14, 2008 7:12 pm Bell, I have loaded the colours you said you liked, to me they are too green, not olive enough.
The last one is the colour I think is closest to what I see on my computer from the builders website…..Dulux “Candidate!” Not sure how it will look on your computer, but it’s closer than the other 2.
