Re: would you like a moodboard? 142Jun 04, 2012 11:21 am Hi Michelle Please, I'd love a mood board for a guest bedroom if you have the time????? I love simple leaf patterns that aren't overly floral. My furniture style is eclectic, a few antiques, the QB bed is wrought iron, iron bark floating floor. Green will be the unifying colour throughout the house. Bedroom will face west so I'd love something with cooler scheme in purple spectrum, with green touches- but not overly feminine if that's possible?? lol. Everything I've googled is too "little girl's room" pretty! I hope this is do-able?? Re: would you like a moodboard? 143Jun 04, 2012 5:50 pm Hi Treeseachanger, I'll try and get to this over the week, I have work on this week at nights but I'll do your moodboard inbetween if you are willing to wait a few nights. The guest room does not yet exist, but I would like to start gathering bits and pieces towards it if I can in the interim. It beats sitting around biting my fingernails down to the quick........... So just whenever the inspiration strikes you is great , thanks very muchly!! We don't want to have the usual hall table .... I will change the wooden picture frames to black, thanks for the idea! I already purchased a plain white doona with a knotted pattern worked in it, and I have a lilac throw... so just need to find similar curtain material (love the one you found), look for a similar light shade... check out the paint colour.....Thanks so much, it gives me something constructive to do during this long, long wait for title... Re: would you like a moodboard? 148Jun 07, 2012 1:39 pm Id love one for my study if possible! it's quite a big room, and I want it themed with travel as I want to use it to display some of my travel momentos such as carvings, statues, photos and paintings. As well as a long built in desk for 2x computers and a bookshelf somewhere too. we have an alcove that I'd love to put a window seat or large single seater couch in, as its the front of the house, facing north with a large window. I visualise quite a classic almost antique setup but im open to suggestions. I'd love to incorporate wallpaper as a feature wall if themed appropriately... The main wall colours through the house will be white - nothing too bold yet. Interested to see your interpretation if this! Re: would you like a moodboard? 154Jun 08, 2012 1:03 pm just found this thread and have spent a couple of hours going through the pages and enjoying all the moodboards Thank goodness DH doesn't know what I do with my time during the day I would love your ideas for me too, but like some of the others, the house is only just ready to start (I hadn't heard of a moodboard before this, great idea!) I like warm colours mostly, not so keen on blues, browns or greys, I like the country decorating style, make my own quilts etc. I do know our wall colours throughout will be Solver Broken White and we will have a jarrah island bench top with 3 lights over in the kitchen and parchment cupboards (hampton profile). I have timber buffet/hutch and dining suite. We haven't decided on flooring yet but we are leaning towards floorboards. It is a long room, kitchen dine family. We are thinking of being a bit more modern and dramatic in the media room, maybe a leather sofa and a black and red/russet theme, there is no ceiling lighting only downlights, and also two wall lights (battens) on two walls opposite each other. Would love to see what you come up with, when you have time - thanks! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: would you like a moodboard? 155Jun 08, 2012 6:44 pm Mclaren Hi Michelle, we are having trouble finding something for our entry which is fairly wide with a 3m ceiling and also for the two niches in the hallway ... the house is quite modern looking, we like minimal - can you suggest some ideas?
