Thanks Michelle, that's gorgeous. I especially love the modular sofa and chair. At the moment we have two x two large 3 seater sofas in chocolate. They are much too dominating for the room.
You've given me plenty of ideas!

I'm going to be using mood boards for most of it to show her what we can do. I'll post them up when I'm done. Contemporary with a touch of vintage for either a living area, meals area or study. Our home is going to be quite nuetral in the warmer colours (beige, browns etc). Re: would you like a moodboard? 132Jun 01, 2012 10:37 am Hi Michelle, We're about a month of moving in so I'm starting to think about how we dress our main living / dining / kitchen area. I'm really bad at picking the little bits and pieces (cushions, throws, lamps, etc) that transform a room. Also not sure what lounge suite to have. We want leather but don't know whether to go light or dark. Overall We like a fairly modern minimalist look (not very good with highly patterned things). I think I'm a bit afraid of choosing patterns so if left to me everything just looks plain and boring Our colors are: Walls - Wattyl Silk Moth TV and Dining Niches - Dulux Red Terra Floor Tiles - Veinstone Beige Lappatto Kitchen cupboards - Dulux China White Benchtop - Essastone New Chinchilla Dining Suite - quite dark, like the Laminate Wenge Natural Finish - this is what we've used for the shelving in the tv niche. Sorry about the info overload - don't know what helps and what doesn't. Thank you so much. I love the colour tone of that leather couch. Previously I was thinking light but maybe not now - it's got such warmth about it. I also love the muted greens which pick up the tones in the tiles and benchtop.
