It seems strange That ventura have loads of homes in progress but very few on here at all. So far our experience has been fantastic. Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 4Jul 14, 2014 1:35 am Thanks, We are very excited, prestart tomorrow. Our sales consultant has been brilliant, hoping everything continues this way. I am sure there will be a few hiccups along the way but I think that is to be expected. Really like your choices, I will post mine when we have them all. Ventura have loads of homes being built but very few on here, a but weird hey. Hope everything goes well for your build. Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 6Jul 16, 2014 6:43 pm Wow, just got through our prestart charges, some are very reasonable and some are way over priced. How did you find it? Kdolls Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 8Jul 17, 2014 1:41 am Hi Yeah soak wells are expensive, we have just been quoted an extra $3500 if we move them a little closer to the house as well!! Won't be doing that! Laundry cupboards were the same or price for 3 metres when we paid that for 5 metres of kitchen overheads?? I will be querying that one! Did you get overheads, if so would you mind telling me how much they were? Tiling was a reasonable price for the extra bits we wanted. I found power points expensive at $103 each and tv points $280 each. Can't wait to see some progress. Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 13Jul 25, 2014 6:47 pm Hi Mostly all good. Just arguing at the moment because where we are building you can't have concrete pavers and we continually (in writing - email) requested they be costed in. The rep acknowledge looking at the covenants that we had to have clay pavers. Now they are telling us he forgot to ask for that to be included and want us to pay an extra $1700 for just the driveway to be upgraded to clay pavers. I just think that there should be some accountability if they make a mistake, there certainly is if we miss something! Did you have anything like that happen Kdolls? Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 15Jul 27, 2014 6:03 pm Just caught up with your thread. Nice to see another Ventura build! Loving your bathroom selections - similar to ours. Re: Ventura Build @ Suffolk Park Estate, Caversham WA 18Jul 29, 2014 10:58 pm Fantastic! We have sorted out the pavers now it's not going to cost us ( very happy camper here ) so hopefully full steam ahead now. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17739 |
