Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone Building at Springfield Lakes? 21Jun 12, 2015 8:23 pm How long did everyone's plumbing approvals take with council? Our builder had said it would be at least 4 weeks possibly even 6 and we got our approval back after 2 days! Just wondering if anyone else has had approvals super fast... I've seen a couple of metricon houses going up already! Re: Anyone Building at Springfield Lakes? 23Sep 24, 2015 4:05 pm We are planning to build in Albany Creek North Brisbane. WE have purchased the land but to be honest, Ausbuild has been so bad to us and I am getting second thoughts working with them. It feels we are just a number and they never respond to emails or messages left. Graham, one of the project managers called me a month ago (after I left 5 messages) and said he will call me back the next day and he still has not done that. Any thoughts? Re: Anyone Building at Springfield Lakes? 24Oct 21, 2015 6:12 am JTAJ_1 Can anyone recommend a builder? Hi guys, We've gone with a builder called Visual Diversity...a Gold Coast builder. He has his display in Springfiled Lakes...unlike Plantation and Metricon you will be dealing directly with the builder...we have been advised our soil is most probably H1 and he has quoted us for the same...i have not got the reports yet. Tony - the builder, built our friend's house a few years ago and he was satisfied with the process...to be realisitic you will need to sometimes chase things up however they are good generally...we can only give a full picture once we complete this process.. Update 14/10/2015: Hi Guys, Just wanted to updated regarding our builders Visual Diversity; we are going thorough a terrible experience with Visual Diversity. There has been no change in the price they provided us so budgetwise there is no issue however communication from the builders is shocking. Visual Diversity do provide a poor service, no response to emails requesting for information and also do false marketing. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. If anyone would like more clarification or deciding to go with Visual Diversity especially at Springfield Lakes, I happy to share our experience. Hey, that's such a shame! I'm seeing so many people having issues and delays with their builders in the sanctuary! If you can pull out, I'd highly highly highly recommend adenbrook homes! They are AMAZING! we had our site scrape on July 16th and our practical completion date has been set at 6th November! That is a grand total of 16 weeks.. This includes 1 week where they were offsite while our pool was installed, so technically the house build has only been 15 weeks. They have been absolutely hands down so easy to deal with, communication is great, any issues noticed during the build have been sorted within 24hrs. Honestly I've had the best experience. I just wish I'd have been able to recommend them this much earlier on in the posts. We are in stage 4, lot 3084 if you wanted to check it out. Good luck with the rest of your build!
