I think I drove by your house today! But I have no idea where it is ...I noticed all the tiles all over the ground, thinking that was an interesting way of knocking down I'll have to retrace my steps today to figure out where Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde area NSW - Demolition begins 30Mar 13, 2015 6:36 am So it begins..I must say I found the demo stage fascinating. We didn't live in the house so had no emotional attachment to it and seeing the block clear for the first time was so exciting! Hope you have a better demo experience this time around. Looking forward to seeing more progress pics. Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde area NSW - Demolition begins 31Mar 13, 2015 7:19 am Wow! I just found your thread now and was examining in greater detail your plans and selections. I LOVE your selections. Very jealous of a number of things like your cornices and door handles The floor plan looks amazing too. And you know the thing I love the most (which I think most people wouldn't care about) is Porch 2. Perfect for brushing hair!! And you know the thing I love the most (which I think most people wouldn't care about) is Porch 2. Perfect for brushing hair!! You had me intrigued with Porch 2! I had to go looking really hard then I found it. Lol, yes I agree it's the perfect spot for hair brushing! Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde area NSW - Demolition begins 33Mar 13, 2015 7:36 am Oh and I think the glass showcasing of the garage is an awesome idea (which you mentioned when I stole your old doors ) Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde area NSW - Demolition begins 34Mar 13, 2015 8:39 am yvonneh Wow! And you know the thing I love the most (which I think most people wouldn't care about) is Porch 2. Perfect for brushing hair!! Funny, that's not actually why that's there;) We wanted a good way to get from the pool to a bathroom without going all the way through the house or putting one at the back of the house. There are no utilities down that side so there won't be anything obstructing that walkway either. There were several lengthy discussions about whether to do that there or go through the Laundry. Ultimately we decided we would lose laundry space as there would be too many doors so we ended up with the plan you see. You could do those melbourne beach hut things out the back [not sure if you are ofay with them] Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde area NSW - Demolition begins 37Mar 21, 2015 12:50 pm Demolition has completed:) https://vimeo.com/122814551 https://vimeo.com/122814595 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde NSW - Demolition complete 38Mar 21, 2015 7:55 pm Oh wow. The demolition always happens so quickly! Re: KDR Custom build in Ryde NSW - Demolition complete 39Mar 28, 2015 7:27 am Some more trees removed. They have to come back next week as their crane was sinking in the spot they had it. Need to get a bigger one to set down in another spot further away.
