Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 07, 2014 11:52 am I went through the 2 new Sekisui House display homes at warralily yesterday. I was very impressed with the customer service and transparency of the sales guys there. I also couldn't believe all the inclusions they had to offer! I am definitely considering putting my initial deposit down for the Spencer 1232! ANY SUGGENSTIONS?? Karin Re: new direct 10 at warralily 2Dec 13, 2014 3:34 pm I deposited with the boys last week. I preferred the spencer design out of the two because the master bedroom is located at the rear of the home and away from all of the street noise. Currently I'm renting a home with a master at the front of the house and the noise when the garbage guys come at 6am wakes me up every Tuesday morning I cant wait for my home to be built, well contract signing will be exciting in just a few weeks time. Did the guys show you the internal colour schemes to choose from? I have gone with the external colour option 4 and the internal colour option 2. I love the hand glazed tiles from Italy they use as a standard splashback to the Kitchen and Laundry. I have only heard great things about Sekisui House and my experience so far has been fantastic. I will keep you informed on my process Thanks Oliver Re: new direct 10 at warralily 4Jan 07, 2015 2:27 pm Hello Yvonneh, Have you built with Sekisui House before? I hadn't really heard of the company but I Loved their designs...... How was your experience? Im really looking forward to the journey ahead Oliver Re: new direct 10 at warralily 5Jan 07, 2015 2:46 pm Hey Oliver. We're in the process of building with them. They are fairly new in Australia and are a Japanese company. In order to enter the Austraiian market they took over the AVJennings operations. You can follow my progress via the blog or the homeone thread (You will see it in my signature). Here's the link to the Homeone forum topic: viewtopic.php?t=69682 Looks like Sekisui House are doing something totally different to what they do here in NSW/Sydney with the options and the floorplans! Best of luck with your build - I hope you will create a thread so I can follow along (this is what happens when you are waiting for your house to get finished being built. Spend time on Homeone!) Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors.
