Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 13, 2014 3:14 pm Just a quick shout out to 3 demolition companies whom we had to contact as our original booked one has let us down. I won't name that company as this post is a recommendation of 3 companies whom I called on Tuesday morning and came out to site to do an estimate and have now come back with quotes. All within $1000 of each other and in the same bracket as that original company we booked (who was the cheapest of the 3 we got quoted when we did our first round of quotes for demolition!) I won't say which company we ended up going with as it was pretty much same/same and I'd recommend any of these if you want a good quote. (Can't speak about their quality of work just yet!) 1. sydneyhousedemolitions.com.au (Gabrael Demolitions) - seems to have a great rating on ServiceSeeking 2. homedemolitions.com.au (aka Corporate Demolitions) 3. Jim from Landcon Civil (sourced via Active Demolitions) They were all in the $17-18k range (inc GST) for our house which is a single storey brick veneer house with some asbestos. Hope this helps someone Re: 3 Sydney Demolition Companies who respond! 2Sep 25, 2014 8:58 pm I was quoted for a demolition of 3 bedroom brick veneer house and removal of inground concrete pool with compaction certificate $35000.00 does anyone know how much a compaction certificate usually costs ? We need to have this certificate as the new house will be built on part of the previous pool site KDR.
