I'm going to have a look at that garage flooring as I've been wanting to do something like that for sometime! It's not that hard and very economical. So good that it's easy to clean. Good to hear from you deluded Re: KDR with Sekisui House: post handover 2340Aug 25, 2016 9:40 pm Funny you should ask. Our DA is in and the council person came out yesterday. She was telling us how our neighbour has complained about privacy although she actually doesn't think it's an issue. In order to 'stop the noise' she has suggested that she's going to put a condition on the approval that we need to erect a 1.5m privacy screen. I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't cover the little bit of view we have of the creek! Then today I get an email suggesting we need to increase the side setback to 1500mm for the pergola. (It was 1400mm). I told her that it was OK we could do that but I didn't want to have to go through the plan process again and incur costs. I also advised that I had consulted with council prior to submission as I wasn't sure of the setbacks and was told 900mm. In the end she was saying that she checked and it was all now OK and that there wouldn't be any issues. Always pays to ask!! So overall it's moving along albeit at a very slow pace. It sometimes feels like it never ends! I'll post up some more recent photos of the library, garage floor and some more of the garden when I get around to it. We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37159 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 19114 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13449 |
