So - the house.... should be ready in 8 - 9 weeks apparently!! My partner went to the tile meeting, and they had started the main floor tiles (mis-communication) so these are now practically finished - anyway, the tiler has to lay protection and any damage they will be liable for since they were not supposed to be done just yet. The look nice though: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Doors have been hung, cabinets are installed. I just want to see the wet area tiling to see if it all looks good! Pretty happy with cabinetry to laundry and bathroom but ensuite I can't really get a good look at from the outside Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our down pipes have been installed and out concrete poured to the garage: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I have pictures of the kitchen but because stone is supposed to go in next week I will wait to upload them so we get the full effect Ventura have said things should move quite quickly here on it with someone there everyday.... so 8 - 9 weeks until PCI if everything goes to plan. Next week is stone and ceiling paint. Hopefully ours tiles don't get damaged - I will go over them with a fine tooth comb! At first I wasn't sure on the colour but it's growing on me Now it's panic mode because I thought I still had 3 - 4 months until I had to move!!! Good luck and yes get packing Thanks everyone! So the tile still weren't protected on Saturday - i will be on my hands and knees checking every one of them! Also - they kept leaving the doors wide open which I complained about and now I can't get in should have just left them open haha but the tilers were there on Saturday and bathroom is looking good. Ceiling is painted, cornices are in (so wish I had of upgraded these now!), insulation is in, air conditioner unit is outside, stone is in and I think that's it for the time being. Also noticed a decent crack in our slab so getting that looked at too. Just want to see my bathrooms finished! Happy with my stone though. I am sending off the fence/landscape paperwork because we want our fence installed ASAP. Not too sure what we are doing with front landscaping as yet. Have been getting quotes for paving/concrete/deck etc - at a loss as to what to do in the backyard! Anyway - here are some pics - will hopefully get bathroom tiling ones soon: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n320/aimeesemple/20150210_160142_zpsok0vglzb.jpg Providence Estate - Wellard, WA - Ventura https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68532 Pinterest (all selections): http://www.pinterest.com/aimees88/final-house-selections/ Re: Providence, Wellard - Bathroom tiling commenced 337Feb 20, 2015 10:00 am Loving your cabinetry!! Have they finished that glorious tiling yet? Will have to see if I can sneak a peak over the weekend gettinby Loving those cupboards Aimee Do we have to apply 8wks prior for fencing/landscapingg or can this be done earlier? Gettinby, the form says to put it in approx. 4weeks prior to handover but the company is so busy at the moment (providence isn't the only estate they have the contract for) the. i would probably suggest getting it in around 6-8 weeks just to give yourself that extra time Side note..... Aimee, I can't believe you're at the stage of getting the landscaping/fencing form in My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Providence, Wellard - Bathroom tiling commenced 340Feb 21, 2015 4:46 pm Thanks everyone. Vetty - tiling is finished but they ran out of the feature tile so I had a mad dash to Imported Cermaics today so once that is in, we are done. I can't get any pictures because the house is locked! I know the aircon is there waiting for install. Not sure what else is scheduled for next week. They still haven't protected my floor tiles either so I will have to go over them very carefully (and whinge about it again too!).
