Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 981Jan 24, 2014 7:23 am We had the same thing when we had just dirt over the back from us in success. Also - we seemed to have heaps of spiders. I always put that down to the dirt also. Your house looks beautiful - hopefully something will happen with the dirt soon to stop it messing up your alfresco! Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 982Jan 24, 2014 9:21 am Wow looks amazing! I especially love the dining area, gorgeous! And yes omg the dust is gross we haven't even set up alfresco as waiting for limestone to be done but i know its going to be dusty all the time. I have same stools are you but mine are silver. I love all the framed prints

You have such sense of style when decorating all of the rooms with the different lighting, art and rugs, love it I have noticed the same thing at our house, soo much dust all over the alfresco furniture! Until the estate is a bit more 'finished' it will keep happening so i just try not to look out the sliding door haha. X Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 992Jan 24, 2014 7:06 pm Wow it looks amazing! And you're super organised! Your house looks lovely, especially dining and living area, nice flow. Your decision to use the same tiles for the whole house worked really well! Love the landscaping in the front too. Gorgeous!! Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 994Jan 25, 2014 9:25 am Sammi_O Looks amazing momo, love your mid century modern pieces! Looking forward to seeing more photos I second that. Someone's been to Freedom! Looks really homely. (i mean that in a good way! ). Love the tv unit thingo and your glass doors - I wanted those but but my husband doesn't like them so I got just the straight glass. I'm having to think about blinds at the moment - how do you like the ones you've chosen in terms of the job you wanted them to do? Are they keeping out the heat? It looks like you've got double blinds in some areas, which I'm considering, as I like to be able to see out (even if it's obscured a bit) but I like privacy and of course I have to keep the heat out. I don't want much! do you like the ones on your alfresco doors, do they do their job? Everything looks really good - especially those cupboards, OMG! Hope you're enjoying living there. Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 997Feb 25, 2014 6:11 pm Wow your house is gorgeous, love your tiles! What are they and where did you get them? (Edited to add, I found the answer by looking through your thread ) Re: Sim & Gwyn's Baldivis Build with Aveling - Keys :) 998Feb 26, 2014 6:10 pm Hi Trixee Thanks so much for the compliment though! I'm guessing you found that they are called 'alabastro gray', and are from Ceramic Tile Warehouse? They're italian, and lurvely, I get lots of compliments from people coming to see the house for the first time. Thanks also to everyone who has commented on my pictures Sorry I'm only just replying now, I've gotten SO bad with keeping up with the forum - life can get in the way once you've moved in! I've got a couple more pics of rooms that have since been fleshed out a little more, so i'll pop those on soon. Good luck to all those of you still building - I'm hoping everybody's builds are ticking along nicely without too many hiccups (there are always some!). We had out wardrobe fitouts done after handover (but before we moved in), by Lifestyle Wardrobes. Hands down the best money we've spent - you can never have enough storage, right?!
