Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 324Apr 15, 2013 7:21 pm My Jaw dropped when I saw it this afternoon, that pic was at 2:40pm and they were still working. fmac - so frustrating for you! Hope you get a fast brickie crew to make it up Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 325Apr 17, 2013 7:43 pm Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 326Apr 17, 2013 8:40 pm Wow they are powering along!! We've been told to expect brickies to start by the end of the week Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 328Apr 17, 2013 8:47 pm How are you liking the bricks now they are part of a wall? Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 329Apr 17, 2013 8:48 pm Getting used to them! We are having a Jasper roof, hope it's enough of a contrast. Thinking I will be calling my house "My little Chocolate Box" Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 330Apr 17, 2013 9:16 pm I'm sure it will look great! I'm sure our bricks don't look like all the samples I saw. Hoping when built they'll look alright Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 331Apr 17, 2013 9:27 pm We talked about bricks b4 on here ..... you spend hours, days, weeks deciding what bricks goes with what roof and then you end up with a completely different coloured brick anyhow haha. You matched yours up to go with Jasper and so did we. Our bricks turned out more orange than brown but now that roof is on it doesn't look half bad. Yours will be the same, Jasper is such an awesome colour and is sooo adaptable haha. Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 332Apr 17, 2013 9:48 pm Yeah I love Jasper I matched it up to go with the Paperbark Render for the Facade and then the developer made me reduce the amount of Render Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 333Apr 17, 2013 9:53 pm I went brikmakers to get sample packs. Don't you hate how much control others have over your own house! Like we want clear window in ensuite for lots greenery outside window. Nope not allowed. Bet if I called a glass company they could come change it for me haha Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 334Apr 17, 2013 9:57 pm I am a bit shocked how narrow the gap is between the house and the fence. I don't think my washing line will be going outside the laundry door after all! Leanne I had wanted a green outlook from my spa bath too. But after our last water excess bill, I am thinking of artifical trees, paving and artificial grass all round Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 335Apr 17, 2013 10:02 pm How much space do you have? We only have 1.6m to the fence on the laundry side and that is the only space we have for the line.
When I look at it I think it will be tight Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 336Apr 17, 2013 10:02 pm LeanneR I went brikmakers to get sample packs. Our ensuite window is clear because I wanted all the windows to look the same across the front and that side of the house. In saying that she told me no for other things but we were more pushy with those things. Hmmm I'd ask someone else but then i need a variation and I don't want anymore delays! Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 339Apr 17, 2013 10:44 pm I'm thinking replacing the glass after handover would probably cost less! I'd love to change our ensuite window to one that opens, think that will be much more difficult post handover, think I'll be living will fixed window! Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Powering along! 340Apr 17, 2013 10:48 pm Ours is awning window - goes from 25c to the ground. Thinking ill prob end up with plantation shutter on window anyways A question.
