Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 13, 2011 9:23 pm Hi all, I am currently building a new home. My builder is suggesting placing a downpipe close to my front door. It will be on the left hand side of the garage pillar. I am thinking of asking them to place a guttering spout from to disperse water over the garage tiles and eventually lead them to the other downpipe which will be located on the right side of the garage. Could you please give me some ideas if this is a good idea or if I am thinking about it too much. Thanks, Bill. I know in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, but it bugs me all the time. It's definatley on my list of things to change later, so to me, I definatley don't believe that you are thinking about it too much! If you come up with another option that works, I would say take it.
