YAY!!! Above is the final sign off, so fingers crossed we dont have any issues with council. We are well set back off the road, plenty of indoor floor space, PLENTY of room outside, and we are only built on one boundary which is usually fine.. Usually this would be a gable ended roof, not a hip a s shown on your plan. m.h. Re: Ash + Ryan - Our house! 14May 19, 2011 12:37 pm Look at the size of that verandah! Love it! Also love all the cupboard space you have there as well. Good luck with your build! We didnt like the gable front look.. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We have sliding stacker doors that lead to the huge entertaining area... We will be decking and hopefully putting in a spa.. Might take a few months after we move in but worth the wait!! The house is 24m or so long + the outside verandah. The house is set 8m back from the footpath, plus we have another 14 m of yard after the verandah... TONS of space.. We did want a red splashback but after seeing some inspiration in another thread, thinking maybe a New York skyline picture behind glass.. I wanted heaps of cupboard space and so glad we were able to put all that we have in!! Building in Adelaide, SA Slab poured 08/09/2011 Handover 18/01/2012!
