Games room with bar and powder room, good thinking! Love the walk in pantry. Your house is going to be fantastic! Have you thought about colours yet? Love the block photo, are you going to be keeping the tree at the front? Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 8Aug 06, 2012 6:16 pm Hi Auds, good to see you came up with a plan! Loving the games room with bar & toilet, such a good idea my hubby would be jealous, we were hoping to do the same so people didn't have to walk through the house from the "proposed" pool but didn't really have a spot for a toilet once we altered the design, hope it all goes well! Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 9Aug 06, 2012 6:58 pm Thanks guys We were supposed to have a pool as well (hence the toilet accessible from the backyard and the games room but the cost of the house has blown out so that has gone out the window the games was supposed to be 5 x 7 including the bar but that blew out as well now its the 5 x 7 plus the bar. My main concern is enough light coming in the living areas at the rear of the house. Dont want it to be dark and dingy I am gonna try to figure out how to get a better plan loaded up - mine is too hard to read compared to most experts on this site Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 10Aug 06, 2012 7:00 pm I havent done a thing about colors yet! Although I do have my heart set on Horaldo's kitchen LOL which I think is about page 75 of the show me your kitchen thread. Not sure about the tree yet - the boss has an aversion to them haha Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 12Aug 06, 2012 7:52 pm that looks fantastic. 5 months well spent i think. Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 13Aug 06, 2012 8:11 pm Best (and biggest!) walk in robe I've ever seen, I would probably get lost in it!! Would love mine to be like that And I bet your alfresco will be heavily used in summer, perfect for lazing in the sun! Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 15Aug 07, 2012 2:05 pm I have fixed up your block pic post by adding the img links around the jpg address. North facing is awesome and even with your Alfresco there I think you will find you have plently of light coming in. Goodluck I hope your build goes smoothly Re: Building a custom home with Ventura in Busselton 20Oct 03, 2012 10:06 am Wow that's awesome! And I thought we had a lot of storage space:) I can't see why you wouldn't have enough light in the living. You have it flooding in from the kitchen windows and the Doors from the living to alfresco (which is an awesome alfresco, especially as the bar opens up onto it).
