This is his progress from yesterday (last 6 boards werent glued at this stage yet though). Excuse the crappy paper blinds!!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I love it so far!! Now, I need some advice on the paint colours! The samples on the wall are: Grey Pebble quarter Grey Pebble half What do people prefer? I think I like the half but I'm worried it is too dark. Alternatively I was thinking of doing the house in quarter, but doing that wall in the picture in half. That wall will have a black leather couch up against it eventually. I'd go the half, I think its a BIG room, with lots of light, it can carry the half my new build thread- Ben Trager https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=89826 my switch build thread (2011) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=36569 Re: Kara's house (WA) - flooring pics - paint colour advice 771Nov 16, 2010 2:47 pm wow - love the floor. I like the half, if you are having a black couch it might bounce off it better. But then, I like both. You have reminded me of an ep of New inventors I saw once where someone invented disposable blinds, they were $2 each and lasted a week.... handy. From that pic the 1/2 looks good. I'm going to throw you one of my dilemas and make it one yours too!! I have a grey ensuite and brown main bathroom - I'm going to try to pick a colour that looks beige against the brown and looks grey against the grey. Or otherwise paint the bathroom in a different colour. Re: Kara's house (WA) - flooring pics - paint colour advice 779Nov 16, 2010 6:50 pm Ohhh sounds like you are going to go through a lot of sample pots looking for the right colour!! Argh too make things more difficult for me, I just bought home a sample of the carpet we chose and it's much more brown than I remember :/ not sure if it goes with the paint.
