Yes, because reinforcing steel is exposed Thanks, so what would be the remedy for this? Re: Slab damage 4Apr 22, 2025 6:47 pm Im trying to figure out what's going on in that first photo. Am I correct that it's an alfreso? if it is why does it look like there is a rebate underneath it? The fix will depend on what the slab is being used for ie in that second photo if that is just a corner chipped of a porch then the fix is pretty basic. The reo can be painted to protect from rust and the slab patched with structural grout and then it will be screeded and tiled. For the first photo I need more information. It may be just a cosmetic clean up needed, but I could be wrong without context Architectural Homes & Duplexes - specialising in custom designing homes to your budget Get a Free Onsite Consultation Today or send a PM for information, questions or advice. I think it's fixable. Most things are in construction It will need some engineering advice but my guess is that they might be able to drill some reo into the end form it up and pour that section cause it looks like a massive chunk. pretty poor work but my opinion won't help you solve it.
