I'd posted my floorplan on here previously for some commentary which was very much appreciated. We're stil building something in that same vien: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=103439&p=1897095#p1897095
We've now progressed with the builder to an estimate, which has come back higher than we would have liked, and now we're discussing if it's worth stretching to afford this, or where we should make some cut backs that don't negatively impact the house.
So the estimate for a 387 sq meter home, on a block that has significant fall and a H1 slab requirement is: 1M - 1.2M (We already own the land we're building on.).
The builder has noted the block fall as the significant contributor to the wide variance in the estimate.
By my calcs this comes out to ~$2500 - $3000 per sq meter which is on the high-side, but in the right ballpark for a custom builder?
Here's the list of extra value items we've added to the house:
