We preferred the Atom downlight and we're looking at outdoor lights from the same range as that sensor one

With the pendants, if you have a red splashback, having the red pendants might be a bit much or even clash if the reds are different? Maybe you can get the red one for the dining and stick with black in the kitchen? (We have a red splashback too

) It took us AGES to find the pendant for our dining and we ended up getting it at IKEA of all places.

But yeah I like your idea.. I'm just struggling with the idea of "different" lights in the two areas. Comes back to this issue I have with symmetry / balance.. It needs to match lol

If the lights are the same style but different sizes they're already different

Having them in different colours gives you same-but-different and creates contrast and interest. Having the red pendant in the dining room would tie back to your red splashback without being overwhelming

PS have you posted your final plans yet?

Sometimes... Ok.. Maybe most times lol, I tend to overthink and then I have to hesitate haha.
No no plans yet, no finals anyhow. They won't change much from what we have but I'll wait till we get the finals before posting them ;-)

Oh those fans are interesting...how much were they? 2 blade fan? Don't think I've seen one of those before?

The 2 blade is $389 each but they have a new model out (AE series) which is a bit dearer at $499 each. Not sure if the price increase is worth changing to the newer model.

You really do need to stand under them to appreciate them. Beautiful air flow and deadly silent. If you get time, Lighting Illusions have them set up in their Macgregor store.

Sigh.. I though we would have contract by now.. but apparently it's not ready till Tuesday / Wednesday.
Oh well.. gives me more time to work out how much needs to be changed.. like the Theatre Room lol

As some would have seen with my renders, we are going all out with the Black/White theme so when I seen the photo's of Kels black doors well, I umm, saved those pics straight away!! pmsl.
Not sure as yet if the builder will paint them or not but I will be happy to leave them primed and get a good friend who just happens to be a professional painter to come over and do them for me lol.
