Re: Aaron and Erin's Henley Panorama - Furniture purchases!!! 84May 30, 2009 9:52 pm Great looking furniture. I hope you got a good deal since you're buying so much! (I'm a haggler at heart). It will be so nice to have brand new furniture for your new house. Judie Re: Aaron and Erin's Henley Panorama - Furniture purchases!!! 85May 30, 2009 9:56 pm Judie Great looking furniture. Judie Re: Aaron and Erin's Henley Panorama - Furniture purchases!!! 86May 30, 2009 10:41 pm I find it rather amusing that two Geelong supporters have good taste in furniture. The furniture you've picked out is great. The fact that it's the nice wooden look, rather than that of the modern retina-burning white crap that a lot of people buy today. In 20 years time, you'll look back at those purchases and think "one less thing to purchase" when you move into your next home. The look you've chosen is like purchasing a pool table, you have two choices: * Traditional * Modern If you purchase a traditional pool table, it'll look great in your next house. The modern won't. Sorry, I had to throw in a pool table comment somehow! Great work guys! Cheers, Big Red Re: Aaron and Erin's Henley Panorama - Furniture purchases!!! 87May 30, 2009 10:47 pm bigred I find it rather amusing that two Geelong supporters have good taste in furniture. Try an outdoor garden centre, there is one near where I live (in the outer south east) that sells whole ones or halves. Blog: http://bluemistkids.blogspot.com "Never be afraid to try something new. I didn't underestimate you in September 2008 Glad to see you're doing the right thing by the pool table and designing the room around it. That's the difference between a successful pool room, and a not-so-sucessful. In regards to the shelves, visit your local bunnings and go to the MDF section. Nothing better than a MDF rugged-looking shelf. Wine-barrels! Yes, I'm also looking at getting some wine barrels myself. I've calculated I need three. 1 for rolling at trespassers, 1 for eating off, and 1 for drinking out of. Aaron, if you've got a bit of muscle like me good-self, we can sneak down to the Irish Pub at Knox City Ozone. They have about 6 of them in their outdoor area. It'll be a difficult operation, but definitely do-able. Cheers! Re: Aaron and Erin's Henley Panorama - Furniture purchases!!! 99May 31, 2009 2:19 am aaron4erin Aaron laughs and gives the thumbs up and says "it's definately a step up from Erin's usual stealing of beer glasses and bar mats". We have a van, lets give it a go Hahaha, you wouldn't happen to know Annice Smoel? Don't worry, I think we're all guilty of stealing a few beer glasses from the local! wakeboardandy: Yeah, I hate that fruit and vegitable stand as well. That's my main gripe with shopping centres. Why do they feel it's necessary to put these massive objects in the middle of walkways? It's already painful enough trying to push passed the 50 year old mothers who decide to suddenly stop in the walkway to look at something. This is the very reason why I only shop at Kmart Burwood 24/7.....at 2:00am! I'm actually looking forward to moving away from Knox, it's too busy for my lifestyle. I just want to sit on the porch with my rocking chair, esky of beer and pretend I'm Clint Eastwood from Gran Torino. Ahh... Cheers!
