Plaster all done, cornices in the garage ready for installation. Very happy with the quality of the brick work. Picked up quite a few things yesterday including toilet roll holders. towel rails, toilet brushes etc. Went with the Mondella Rumba range for all the fixtures. Just need to find one more toilet roll holder as our store only had two in stock. Fortunately the price has dropped almost $100 since I first saw it. When we were doing our selection, I wanted to get letter box from elsewhere but M guy insisted that it will be more troublesome and expensive if we get ourselves. So we just had to choose what M has Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 669Jul 16, 2018 10:00 am Kimmykim I like your choice of letter box. When we were doing our selection, I wanted to get letter box from elsewhere but M guy insisted that it will be more troublesome and expensive if we get ourselves. So we just had to choose what M has Thats annoying. M didnt offer us a letterbox, I think they worked out pretty quickly that we wanted to save money where possible and do things ourselves. Standard letterboxes arent too expensive but our estate doesnt allow plain ones, and I really like the timber look.Save Re: Metricon Winchester 28- Bricking and plastering 670Jul 16, 2018 3:23 pm Nice place blackcat. Did you buy these yourself? If so do you mind sharing? I need to get a few. Did you also say you’re in the NT but moving to Melbourne? You’re gonna miss the Paul’s ice coffee. Freeze it and then hand carry them on the plane to Melbourne so you have a stash for awhile. Handed over to our replacement SS yesterday while ours is on leave. Popping down this afternoon for a peek to see if our stairs have gone in. Hoping the cladding is also underway. Cabinet installation is scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday then we have a walk through booked Thursday. Fixing expected to be complete by next Friday, and am expecting fixing and lock up invoices soon thereafter.
