Based on what I've read/believe, I am trying to avoid or do the following:
- No Fructose
- No Polyunsaturated Oils
- No Plastic (as much as possible)
- Reduced waste/more recycling
- No/less chemicals
- Organic where possible
- No animal products
- Cruelty free only
- Native grasses and plants
- Less electricity/water consumption
It's SO hard. Take Sunscreen for example. I'm trying to find a SPF 30+ sunscreen THAT is 100% vegan, cruelty free, comes in glass or stainless steel container, contains no poly unsaturated oils or citrus oils, preferably is made locally (to avoid transport impact) and is made from few ingredients that are all natural and preferably certified organic. Plus the core active ingredient has to be non nano zinc oxide, with no titanium oxide. I can't find anything anywhere!! I might even have think about making my own
Sometimes I wonder if all this is worth it.. am I really helping the environment anyways?
Wow, that all sounds too hard! Good on you though
I think the best sunscreen to suit your requirements is shade! Lol
