Browse Forums Building A New House Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 543Mar 25, 2017 8:51 pm cat_dunc Oh no!!!!!!! Are they meant to be solid timber or translucent glass? I suppose some people might prefer clear glass. Showering in the open... that's outdoor living alright You are so funny. Yeah out door living should really have open shower, only if I'm building a house near the beach or very private country ranch. Our out door living's bath room should be external solid wood door. Your outdoor living area sounds great but thank goodness you are able to spot the mistakes with the doors and windows at this stage! Our Acacia build - viewtopic.php?t=86619 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 545Mar 27, 2017 4:38 am shazaw These are two clear glazed french doors delivered. We only need one for the balcony at the front of the house. If they end up installing the clear glazed franch door for the out door living instead of external solid wood door they should not charge us for the extra as this is their mistake. This clear glazed french door is $964 more expensive than the external solid door. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Those doors look amazing! Looks like the supplier for the glazed doors changed too. Our neighbours windows were from Dowell so I would have thought you'd get the same. Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 546Mar 27, 2017 5:19 pm Your frame is looking great! Hopefully we have seen the last of the rain, and your build can progress quickly! Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 547Mar 27, 2017 7:56 pm Thanks everyone. We had electrical appointment a week ago, still waiting for feed back from Rose. Even if it's covered over with something else. I personally would be pushing for replacement of the moldy elements. I can only request for replacement but no guarantee if burbank will replace as this will be on going issues as we are facing too much rain. They have installed permanent ladder at the stair case area. He he I climb up the ladder to first floor and took lots of photos. I might not get this opportunity again. I was very careful not to trip, and walls are open so stayed close to the middle section of the house. Hubby not too impress for climbing up ( for safety).
