We still have no roof, and they haven't moved the PowerPoint, sigh. Haha! Which I highly doubt will happen, when were they meant to start your roof? Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 503Feb 18, 2014 10:38 am Our SS said our roof was booked in for last Friday Maybe today. Although JC has a jam tonight so I will be checking it out alone and having roof celebrations alone haha. Lockup is going to be so frustrating!! Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 506Feb 19, 2014 7:33 am Looking good! Looks like your house is set back a bit! We had to have ours set back at 5.5ms so not much front lawn Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! :( 507Feb 19, 2014 9:23 am We would have loved to have it front more but the took the averaging measurements from the front of the portico We have a 9m frontage which is a bit wasted, have 6m at the back too but would have rathered 9 at the back! We heard back about our powerpoint... Need to pay variation fee, then the cost of moving it..? So were going to add another powerpoint and aerial to the activity area wall for a wall mounted tv and add power to the BBQ area which we missed. Need to go and measure the heights though so will need to do that early tomorrow morning, then drive to Margaret river for work and scan the plans back to our client lady. Busy day! Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 512Feb 20, 2014 7:38 am Well at least they are allowing you to do it I'm just going to those sorts of variations after handover. Our variation fee is $500 for each request haha!! Not worth it Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 513Feb 21, 2014 7:19 pm Ouch! Ours is $260 but we couldn't get that activity room PowerPoint in after handover because it's an internal wall and would be super tricky. Can't believe how quickly your build is going. Our upper storey slab was poured at the same time as your slab. And the speed certainly isn't at the cost of quality. Looks great. When are they starting your plaster? Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 518Feb 22, 2014 2:02 pm Thanks guys Not too sure, since we've done a variation now and asked for that bedroom PowerPoint and aerial to be moved up the wall, and for one to be added in the activity area and the alfresco the lady said that had to go into 'scheduling' so I'm guessing it's going to hold the plaster up. Oh well, more time to save for downlights/blinds haha. But then again you never know with these companies Re: Goodlife/Gemmil Bravo Build - Powerpoint and cut errors! 520Feb 23, 2014 8:00 pm Hopefully not too long JC wanted to pretend seeing our floor in the house... Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 13511 It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger. Your 'soak well' only holds 424 litres when full. What is your soil type? Soak wells need sandy soils. 10 9677 |
