I haven't seen anyone with a 3 piece section that is in our plans yet. We didn't ask for it as an upgrade. Yeah they are making great progress. The only issues we are encountering atm is the bricks. Been quite a few issues. Our head bricky got into a car accident 2 weeks ago, so it's only been his apprentices working on the house, hence the super slow progress even though they work everyday on it. On top of that, they have just realized the feature brick sizes are slightly taller than the white bricks. Looks like they have pulled all the bricks off the front of the house to start over again. Waiting on SM to let me know how they gonna address the problem. This morning, we have brickies, sparkies, carpenters and stairs crew all working at the same time. We only upgraded those doors to our WIR. hehe yeah, I remember when someone at the M office calling me about the baby door, I had no idea what they were on about lol. Glad they got it right in the end. Orpheus Is the baby door for your kids to hide in?? lol, too bad we have zero kids atm. I'm sure they'll love it when we do have some though hahaha Renman I am going to ask our CSC if the baby door comes in the HCM1 style. Yeah, I didn't even know it was possible. Lucky who ever was ordering for us at head office thought about it. Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 495Feb 07, 2017 12:05 pm I wonder why they can only do baby door and half understairs storage instead of a full one. Is it because of the way the staircase sits? Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 496Feb 07, 2017 2:10 pm emmyawards I wonder why they can only do baby door and half understairs storage instead of a full one. Is it because of the way the staircase sits? It was our choice. The stairs wouldn't look as good with the full door with plaster board. We actually had the full door with more storage in the beginning. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Desired outcome. I should ask again since you are also building the Hampshire. Re: KDR Metricon Liberty - Hampshire 45 QLD 498Feb 07, 2017 4:18 pm emmyawards I didn't realise you got a choice. The full the door option was actually the cheaper option as well. Refer to costings below. The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 20189 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 14298 |
