My thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65763 Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 402Jun 20, 2013 6:56 pm Drove past at 2:30pm and they were hanging doors internally, and a door on the internal garage opening. No front door but I would think that would have to be on today to protect the others? so I guess I have Lock-Up!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 403Jun 20, 2013 7:19 pm Yay!! They seem to be using our garage door as the locked door and they have just hung a piece of wood without handles etc on the front. Join the frustration of not having access ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 404Jun 21, 2013 5:51 pm Had a peak through the windows this morning, they have hung the internal doors, done the shelving in the Linen and the Wardrobes, and when I drove past this afternoon someone was doing work inside. Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 405Jun 21, 2013 7:15 pm Donna I think at the moment we are literally a day or two apart!! Weve had an email from the CL to organise a meeting with SS and tiler next Friday afternoon ![]() Hopefully well both be in as the weather gets nice and we can enjoy our new house and the outdoor areas ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 406Jun 21, 2013 9:59 pm lol, our outdoor area is tiny! We aren't outdoor people. Our alfresco is more like a little shade area to reduce the Northern Sun. But yes we do seem to be neck and neck. Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Door's = Lockup? 407Jun 21, 2013 10:17 pm Ahhhh. We aren't outdoor people but I like the idea of sitting in our alfresco with a wine enjoying the sunset ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 408Jun 24, 2013 6:35 pm So cabinetmaker can't get stock of the Silk Finish in Moose. Any suggestions for something with as nice a wow factor? Has to match the grey floor tile and Carrera Marble style wall tile Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 409Jun 24, 2013 7:06 pm Do they have a similar gloss finish in a similar colour in Formica that you could use as well? Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 410Jun 24, 2013 7:18 pm No it has to be Laminex Silk Finish - I am thinking just going white ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 411Jun 24, 2013 7:35 pm noooooo moose is gorgeous!! ![]() I wanted moose for something in our house then found out how much the upgrade was for laminex and had to drop it ![]() ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 412Jun 24, 2013 7:36 pm I went with new graphite which is very similar to moose but bit more grey. Unfortunately it isn't silk finish though Can you post your tile selection again?? Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 413Jun 24, 2013 7:40 pm You don't want to or can't use the Formica gloss? I thought it was formicas version of laminex silk finish? I would think either go a light grey or the white. White can look good. Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 414Jun 24, 2013 7:42 pm Just found your tiles. I'd go with laminex zincworks silk finish. Actually think will look even better than the moose Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 415Jun 24, 2013 7:51 pm With the dark floor and bench top a lighter grey or white will actually possibly look better. Particularly if you want the bench top to be a bit of a feature. I forgot we have the same floor tiles! Though I think you've gone the really big ones? Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 416Jun 24, 2013 7:55 pm I am waiting to see if I can change benchtops as well The floor tiles are 300x300 I am gutted about the Moose but can't wait until August for it Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 417Jun 24, 2013 8:08 pm We have the same ones then ![]() If you can't have the cabinets the colour you want you should be able to change the bench tops.... But that's just my opinion and we know what we as the owners is reasonable isn't always what the builders thing is reasonable ![]() Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 418Jun 24, 2013 8:24 pm on my sample sheet there is a "new" section on the left but it doesn't say what finish they come in..."satin smoke" looks awesome but just don't know if its in silk finish.. I would definitely try and reselect a bench and cabinet instead of trying to match a cabinet to what you have when the best match isn't available! How frustrating...good luck! Re: Baldivis Rivergums - Recommendation required urgent 419Jun 24, 2013 8:31 pm Satin smoke is metallic. Comes in panels & wall lining I second taking your plans elsewhere.
