But I think he may have meant slab. Coz I don't think they will get slab and frames in 3 days. It's funny that the planning stages take so long and then all of a sudden they are starting and you feel excited that finally something is starting but at the same time I am nervous wondering if we really have checked over everything to ensure we have picked up any errors on the plans. Time will tell. Re: Our New Build - Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - so it all sta 53Sep 12, 2012 10:42 am raejrey Wow what a lovely surprise! Congrats Boosho! Looking forward to seeing the lots progress I KNOOOOOOWWWWWWWW It is so exciting... I know i'll be driving past every night after work.. its a good thing is only 10 mins away from where we are living right now.. Time will tell. Why are there delays with frames?? I would have thought frames would be the one of the easiest materials they can get..... are you using timber or steel frames??? But I know what you mean about worrying we had forgotten something.. specially something electrical because our electrical plan is so complicated and we have lots of power point next to eachother so it so easy to miss one.... I will be much happier when its all done.. It's going to be around 3 weeks according to our SS but we were hoping for our slab to be left for a while anyway. Re: Our New Build - Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - so it all sta 55Sep 12, 2012 4:57 pm Oh well i guess if you're ok with that then its alright.. hopefully it wont be longer than the 3 weeks.. nothing worse than just waiting and waiting.. I could tell someone's been on site because there was a big hole that was there the day before and they've put down the timber slats to protect the driveway.. I was hoping they would have starting digging the tenches.. hopefully today.. We have felt like that many times early in the first week or so. Its worse when you have blocks all around you getting dug out, plumbed, poured etc, through the rain etc... Have faith, it's gonna happen..... I certainly know how you feel, you can barely contain your excitement as you drive around the last corner, then pull up and look for anything....something, but NOTHING. I know that feeling. but before you know it, you go there, next time hoping for at least something...anything, and you nearly fall over at how much has ben done in just 1 day. Then you soon forget that the block wasnt touched for 2 days in the sunny weather. oh how we have been there before. hang in there. Sorry! I'm new to this forum and have made a mistake in my posting!
