Close enough to lock up At least you won't spend the Chrissy break pressing against the windows

Re: Providence, Wellard - grey float finished 303Dec 22, 2014 11:30 am Yay! Congrats on the ceilings and white set! it all makes such a difference doesn't it! I wouldn't be too upset about not making lock up! at least you can still walk through and enjoy your shell! i'd much rather still have access to my house over the holidays than peaking through glass Dale Alcock Build in Honeywood Our Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70204&p=1154102#p1154102 Re: Providence, Wellard - grey float finished 304Jan 02, 2015 7:42 pm Thanks Dee, Vetty and Kelsey Our glass was installed over the Xmas break so hopefully lock up isn't too far away. e have a meeting on Tuesday with the blinds lady to get them sorted so that's exciting. Tried to buy a few things over Xmas but not many places lay-by or if they do it's not for long enough so we have had no success. I have found my dining table though - it's a rough, light wood top with trestle legs. I think it's what I want anyway.... so many choices! Vetty - you thought my Portico was huge - did you see my neighbours!!?? Hope your meeting with the blinds lady went well and your all sorted now I know what you mean about trying to do some shopping, we were the same but we couldn't find anywhere that would layby anything so we're just going to wait until we are in We have all the furniture we need anyway so it's not like we'll be sitting, sleeping or eating on the floor.... Plus it'll probably be better to wait anyway so we can make sure it's what we definitely need and want (and whether it is going to match the colours ) My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Providence, Wellard - grey float finished 308Jan 17, 2015 4:00 pm Blinds are done - we went through Specialty Curtains and Blinds - we have a grey block out and a white privacy/sun blind. Hopefully they look okay! Lockup is due next week apparently so that's exciting. I just want tiles to start! Our other house sold and settle on the 27th so that's exciting and I have a new job too so there are plenty of changes in 2015 that's for sure!! We are getting verticals through the builder but I eventually want to put in plantation shutters (I just love the look of them, just not sure on practicality yet haha) Though I want block outs on the theatre so will have to check yours out once they're in Fingers crossed for lockup this week (and hopefully cabinets next week???) SO a bit of a change We wanted plantation shutters too on the front of the house but they let a bit more light in and our theatre is at the front so we can't have them At least we saved money Lockup this week apparently, cabinets start next week and trying to get a tile meeting for when Cory is home in 2.5 weeks time. Other house settles next week too - it's all go go go!! (except at this current moment absolutely nothing has happened at the house and it's filthy. I hope they clean it too!)
