We got slabbed 13/09 so about 14 weeks or so from slab til Xmas Not much is happening at the minute. We are supposed to get first fix services last week but nothing. Colourbond is delivered waiting for install however I think there may be a hold up due to my independent building inspections questions/comments so perhaps that's why nothing is happening. Hoping to have all items on my report addressed next week by Ventura. So glad I ended up getting an inspection done, well worth the piece of mind considering I would never have thought of these items. In the meantime we have been getting our other house ready to sell. Currently getting painted by Elite Painters and Michael has been excellent to deal with, looking very good too so he will be painting the new house when we get there Also - my boyfriend bought me a gift.... He responds to my emails almost instantly, and is just so lovely. It's nice to hear they're doing such a good job for you. Re: Providence, Wellard - brickies finished, timbers commenc 294Nov 23, 2014 12:56 pm Dee - Colourbond has started, almost finished! I have just been so busy getting my investment ready to sell I have no photos! Next week I should see a nice, finished roof. Plumbing and electrical have all been chased too so perhaps grey float next? Fair call so I wait for a kitchen. In other news - grey float has been completed today. Pretty sure my neighbours brickie is using my water. Colourbond is completed and that's about all so far! Don't mind the skip bin or pile of sand..... but here is my 'Smurfmist' roof!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I guess glass and white set is next? Or ceilings first then glass? Not sure but hoping to get a few things done before Xmas - not sure about lock up though!! Oh and our brickies missed some bricks (no idea how) so they have to come back. And I wasn't happy with the kitchen window wall so they are knocking the top bricks off and starting again. Get there today and we have white set, ceilings and cornices all done and the glass has gone into the kitchen window. A shame we won't get lock up before the break though but I expected as much. Looks a lot bigger now too. So I assume this will be it now until after the break!
