Where did you say it was at? I'm pretty keen on that garage! haha Does the $215 you were at include site costs, blinds, alfresco, landscaping, driveway etc? That particular house is at Werribee but there is also displays at Bendigo & Ballarat. The price includes coloured concrete driveway, concrete floor to the alfresco (we're still deciding what we want to do there but probably decking) & site costs. The blinds we will do - we just get the basic ones with our pack. Landscaping we'll get through a mate once we've decided what we want to do. Re: Our Watersun Build 23Jul 25, 2016 7:11 pm The house looks amazing wickie! Nice big hallway and loving the outdoor area! It's funny how we get excited over storage (WIL) haha We had to do a landscaping plan for the developer. So hope we get approval in the next week Re: Our Watersun Build 24Jul 25, 2016 7:47 pm KatSki The house looks amazing wickie! Nice big hallway and loving the outdoor area! Ours was very simple - just some grass, some small natives &a small walkway from the driveway to front door. We didn't have any issues with ours so hopefully you won't either! Re: Our Watersun Build 25Jul 25, 2016 8:02 pm Fingers crossed!! We signed contract at the end of March....I've been trying to get our builder to get developer approval done before land titled. But supposably they don't do it until land titles! So annoying Re: Our Watersun Build 27Jul 26, 2016 7:48 pm andyboiii so which facade have you ended up going with? This is going to sound silly but I have no idea! We knew we were going to build that house before we found the land! Once we out the deposit down for the land, we signed the contracts with watersun & then did our colours a few weeks later! So it's literally been over 12 months since we did everything. Mr Wickie says it will be a massive surprise when the house is built & we actually see what we selected lol Re: Our Watersun Build 28Jul 26, 2016 7:49 pm KatSki Fingers crossed!! We signed contract at the end of March....I've been trying to get our builder to get developer approval done before land titled. But supposably they don't do it until land titles! So annoying Watersun did everything so early on, like weeks after we signed with them last year. Hey are you in the merrifield FB group? Re: Our Watersun Build 29Jul 26, 2016 8:44 pm Your so lucky! The process has felt so long! Stuck in admin at the moment:( Fingers crossed we get some good news soon! Today another two fences have gone up! Have you had a look at Merrifield Cloud9 today....I thought of you today as it looks pretty close to you! No I don't really use Facebook...I have before but just don't get on there. Is it worth going on? Re: Our Watersun Build 30Jul 31, 2016 6:01 pm I visited Watersun in Mickleham today. The Kent isn't there, but wow, the houses were beautiful, I must say!!! I'll go down to Werribee on Saturday to check it out. I think I'm moving away from 8homes I think Re: Our Watersun Build 33Sep 14, 2016 4:32 pm Oohh hey Andy Yup we've got our temporary fencing up and they have put all the sewerage pipes in. We were hoping the slab would go down this week but the delightful Melbourne weather has put a stop to that idea! How are you progressing? Re: Our Watersun Build 34Sep 15, 2016 9:48 am wickie Oohh hey Andy Yup we've got our temporary fencing up and they have put all the sewerage pipes in. We were hoping the slab would go down this week but the delightful Melbourne weather has put a stop to that idea! How are you progressing? ahh yes! The delays due to the bad weather. Hopefully it fines up soon so you can get finally started! Well, my lot has been delayed because the first 2 stages have also been delayed due to bad weather. So it titles at around June 2017, so I'm still way off starting my build. I actually went to see the Watersun display homes in Mickleham and in Werribee and I loved the homes there! For the same price as an 8home, they're much nicer and better quality IMO. I went and saw the kent too and gosh, that garage is already massive and to think you're going to make it even bigger just blew my mind..... I'm contemplating doing the same thing Re: Our Watersun Build 36Oct 04, 2016 8:51 am Hey Aba, Unfortunately we are still waiting for the slab to go down! The weather has not been kind to us. The experience is starting to get really frustrating, especially the lack of communication by Watersun. We were told the site manager would call us and we still haven't heard anything! We are lucky that Merrifield has a fixed aerial camera that takes photos every 15 minutes so we can actually see the land and what is going on and we are also close enough to drive up on weekends to view it. I am conscious that it's so close to christmas now and there is no way we will be in until the New Year. Re: Our Watersun Build 37Oct 10, 2016 10:01 am So an update for you all .... the update is NO UPDATE! We went up on the weekend and despite there being a few days of great weather, still nothing has progressed! It's really frustrating that we seem to be stuck in limbo land. It's been at the same stage for over a month now. Our across the road neighbours (who were well behind us!) have now had their slab poured and their frame go up today. Also the frame going up means we can no longer spy on our progress as their frame blocks the view of our block. I'm off to write a grumpy email to Watersun Re: Our Watersun Build 38Oct 10, 2016 10:58 am That's ridiculous! Definitely time for an angry letter Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Our Watersun Build 40Oct 15, 2016 3:06 pm We finally have a slab!!! These were sent to us by the builder yesterday http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p634/wickie08/house2_zpsted1egz1.jpg http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p634/wickie08/house1_zpsol2v1fms.jpg And when we went down this morning we found this: http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p634/wickie08/slab1_zpsm74d8jev.jpg http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p634/wickie08/slab2_zpsroenrrvc.jpg Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 19900 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 24620 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 36 25253 |
