Re: Our Burbank - Lamont 2600 29Nov 13, 2011 1:54 pm gremlin HI EVERYBODY, We are looking for info with the "upgrades" to category carpets and tiles we are building the Fairfax 2700 and we went to a preview sitting at the edge studio and it did our heads in lol...tried to get some info from the girl there was like pulling teeth everything was "you will have to deal with the colour cons when your full appnt occurs" can anyone give a ballpark figure on the category upgrades costs for floor tiling and carpets.....just a little rough indication even of approx. pricing if thats poss We are building in Arden Estate Pakenham stage 5 is there anyone else building here also?? Hi, To give you an idea here are my quotes 1. Upgrade from Cat 1 to Cat 2 Tiles- $900 2. Upgrade from Carpets to Cat 1 Tiles in the family region - 1135 3. Upgrade Underlay is somewhere around 500 Upgrading to Cat 2 Carpets was around 1500 plus , i don't remember the exact figure as i opted with Cat 1 carpet. In my case i went with a fixed dollar number and that helped me control the lust of upgrading.. I will recommend you to go and search the brick color as the option in the selection studio is outdated and not of the current series. All the best Regards Avik Re: Our Burbank - Lamont 2600 31Nov 13, 2011 7:22 pm gremlin HI EVERYBODY, We are looking for info with the "upgrades" to category carpets and tiles we are building the Fairfax 2700 and we went to a preview sitting at the edge studio and it did our heads in lol...tried to get some info from the girl there was like pulling teeth everything was "you will have to deal with the colour cons when your full appnt occurs" can anyone give a ballpark figure on the category upgrades costs for floor tiling and carpets.....just a little rough indication even of approx. pricing if thats poss We are building in Arden Estate Pakenham stage 5 is there anyone else building here also?? Hi Gremlin, We upgraded to higher catergories for carpet and tiles - Cat 3B tiles - approx $4500, Cat 4 carpet approx $2300. We tiled our family room as well and this was an extra cost. Because everybody's house and upgrades are different, it is difficult for the colour selection studio to give you costings until you are there on the day as it is all based on your exact house and what you have chosen. We also upgraded to Cat 7 bricks which which was approx $2600. If you have a look in the building with burbank thread there is more info from people who have built with burbank previously viewtopic.php?f=31&t=12475 Good luck with your choices and your build Sarah, Andy & Parker - Building Our First Home - Burbank Lamont 2600 Our Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=51696 Our Burbank - Lamont 2600 32Nov 15, 2011 6:48 am Hey Guys, Looks like your all ready to go!!
